Yesterday I had a guest post from Raphyel M Jordan, author of Prossia. Today I wanted to let you know just what I thought of this new sci-fi novel.

Prossia

Firstly, let me say the story itself was fantastic and I connected with the main characters almost instantly. The concepts and setting were so well described and plunged the imagination straight in. The way Raphyel tells the story makes you feel as if you are right beside the main character, fighting her fights and feeling her pains.

I like the new spin Prossia takes on sci-fi, I think it adds a fresh perspective to the genre while still retaining all that we love about science fiction. I would definitely recommend this book for any lover of sci-fi (or fantasy), and it’s suitable for anyone from young adults and up.

My only criticism of the book is the spelling and misuse of some words. If those kinds of things don’t bother you, then you definitely have to buy and read this book. If you are bothered by these errors, you should be aware that they are definitely there. While these mistakes do take away from the story there is still a gem of a novel in these pages. Hopefully later editions will include corrections so that the story gets the full flow and energy it deserves.

Overall I do recommend this book, giving it 3.5 stars (out of 5). You can buy Prossia in paperback or kindle format from Amazon.

Be on the lookout for a newer edition of Prossia coming out this year that will address those dreaded grammar mistakes!

In spite of that, I’m SO happy to hear you enjoyed the read! ^_^ Genres like sci-fi are so established in what they cover, and it can be challenging when trying to think of a way to make such a story stand out. So it’s very rewarding to hear that you felt there was a positive different take with “Prossia.” Thank you for an honest and solid review!
